The Four Directions programs, ESL, TEFL and Homestay, were developed at Four Directions College. Its founder, Heather Stewart, is now an advisor to he Mission Community Services Society. She brings decades of management and academic experience to our Centre. Heather and Gail are long time residents of Mission and the Fraser Valley and are able to assist students to feel comfortable in their host community.

Gail Hanslo has been providing tutoring and classroom teaching of English to international children and adults for many years. She also holds a degree in Interior Design. Her additional background in hotel & restaurant management and sales & marketing has prepared her for communicating to people of various occupations and ages. Gail makes learning both effective and individualized to student needs.
